Welcome to The Lab

In July 2020 we needed a change. My partner and myself, our son who recently turned 1, the 2 cats, and a turtle embarked on a journey that would take us thousands of miles to only end up down the street from where we started. 

The Short version is we bought a skoolie, moved out of our little Hollywood bungalow and into a 30 foot bus, then hit the road for an open ended road trip. It lasted about 3 months and took us as far as Ohio and roughly 7 thousand miles before having to return to LA for work. 

The Skoolie Lab came out of that journey and is an idea that focuses on the RV lifestyle and outdoor recreation. I hope for it to become a place to explore and experiment with art, writing, design, making, and travel. The Lab is a way for me to stay connected and contribute to the community.

What The Lab is working on now

The Skoolie Lab is still getting set up but is open and figuratively speaking, on the road. There are a few shirts in our gift shop and more merchandise on the way. More than simply a place to shop, The Lab will be a place to learn and share ideas, stories, reviews, tips, and tricks, photos, products, and gear. Explore. Experiment. Educate.
